In this topic, we will briefly explain what "camp," "campzone," and "turnback" mean on a Furien server, such as the FURIEN.LEGENDCS.RO server.

Please note that the examples we provide in this topic are purely demonstrative. Camping, campzone, and turn back can take various forms during a round.

What is Camp ?

CAMP - represents the person who stays on guard and waits until the enemy appears.

In this example, we can see this player exiting the CT base and positioning themselves in a corner, waiting for enemies to attack them. By having their back against the wall, they gain an unfair advantage on the server. Camping is punishable with a slay, and for three consecutive instances of camping, a 30-minute ban is applied.

What is Camp Zone?

Campzone is the moment when you move around in the same area, waiting for enemies.

In this example, you can observe how the player in question remains in the spawn area in Furien for several seconds along with another player, even though the first enemy who attacked them was killed. They both stay in the same area with their backs against the wall in many cases. Even though they are not stationary and continue to move, staying in the same area is considered a campzone, and it is penalized in a similar manner as camping.

Exceptions for Camp !

In the case below, you can observe a similar situation to the first example where the player in question stands with their back against the wall in a corner. However, in this situation, the player is being attacked by four Furien, who are continuously swooping down, making it a challenging mission for the player in the role of an anti-furien. This represents an exception to camping due to the fact that the player is under attack.

What is Turn Back?

Turn back is the moment when the player in question returns to where they initially started. This strategy creates a disadvantage for Furien, especially when the bomb needs to be planted, and it is penalized with a slay.

In this example, we see the player, despite heading towards the Furien Spawn base after escaping from multiple enemies, instead of heading for the door, they turn back to catch a Furien cornered. This turn back is illegal and is penalized with a slay (in the image's case, it resulted in a 30-minute ban due to multiple rule violations by the player).

Exceptions !

Exceptions exist in the case of turn back depending on the specific circumstances and the moment during the round.

In this example, we observe the player moving from one site to another, but in the middle of the journey, upon noticing the bomb being planted, they decide to turn back. According to the rules, this is permitted because when you are the last player left or when the bomb is planted, players are allowed to turn back from their path to the sites in order to defuse the bomb.

An exception to the turn back rule is represented by the act of turning back to retrieve a dropped mystery box or item from a fallen enemy, with the condition that after picking up the dropped item, the player in question must continue on the path they initially decided to take.
